O contributo da minha colega Maria Pilar González
e meu para a obra que a Organização Internacional do Trabalho (em colaboração
com a Comissão Europeia) tem vindo a preparar sobre os efeitos da crise e das
políticas de austeridade nas formas que o Modelo Social Europeu reveste em cada
país vai fazendo a sua progressão com vista à sua publicação pela Edward Elgar,
o que é uma honra.
Entretanto, já está disponível o programa
indicativo da grande conferência sobre o tema que a OIT em colaboração com a CE
organizará dias 27 e 28 de fevereiro próximo, em Bruxelas. Caberá à Pilar a
apresentação nos escassos 7 a 10 minutos disponíveis para cada um dos autores
do estudo de caso sobre os efeitos na classe média que integra o nosso
contributo, bem mais vasto do que esse estudo de caso. Lá estarei e disso darei
conta neste blogue. Para aguçar o apetite, apresento de seguida o referido
programa.
